Pleasure Flights

At Heli-Jet Aviation we operate helicopter pleasure flights from our base at Leeds Heliport located next door to Leeds/Bradford Airport. We are ideally placed on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales to offer you the very best in dramatic scenery. We have three flight durations 10, 20, and 30 minutes.

The pleasure flights are suitable for people of all ages, making them an ideal gift for any occasion. Individual pleasure flight seats are available with prices starting from £39.50. Gift vouchers, which act as your ticket, are valid for 6 months. The flights are usually run throughout the day on the first and third Sunday of every month. Please note due to the popularity of these flights we generally require 1 months notice for bookings.

1. 10 Minute Flight (view map)
   The 10 minute pleasure flight initially routes NE, overhead Pool towards Harrogate where you will be able to see the Harrogate and Knaresborough area, Rudding Park and The Great Yorkshire Show Ground. From Harrogate your flight will track towards Wetherby turning West to over fly Harewood House before routing back down the Wharfe valley to Pool completing your trip at Leeds Heliport.
   
   
2. 20 Minute Flight (view map)
   The 20 minute pleasure flight initially routes NE, overhead Pool and Harrogate towards Knaresborough on the way you will be able to see Rudding Park and The Great Yorkshire Show Ground. Your flight will route around Knaresborough turning West to pass just to the North of Menwith Hill. Finishing with a dramatic flight down the reservoirs in the Washburn Valley to Pool completing your trip at Leeds Heliport.
   
   
3. 30 Minute Flight (view map)
   The 30 minute pleasure flight initially routes NE, overhead Pool and Harrogate towards Knaresborough on the way you will be able to see Rudding Park and The Great Yorkshire Show Ground. Your flight will route past Knaresborough turning West to pass to the North of Menwith Hill up into the Yorkshire Dales. Once overhead Grassington you will follow the River Wharfe over Burnsall and Appletreewick down The Strid, past Bolton Abbey to Ilkley. From Ilkley your flight continues East bound overhead Burley, Otley and Pool completing your trip at Leeds Heliport.
