Trial Lessons and Training

Whether you are thinking of learning to fly or just looking for a unique gift for that someone special, a trial lesson is just the thing.

The trial lesson is a fantastic opportunity for people of all ages to get behind the controls of a helicopter for the first time. During your 30 minute trial lesson you will be given the opportunity to spend between 20 and 25 minutes on the controls including the opportunity to take up the ultimate challenge, the hover!! The lesson is preceeded by a 15 minute briefing in our Robinson R22 simulator.

Heli-Jet Aviation offers basic PPL(H) training in our fleet of 4 Robinson R22 helicopters. The Private Pilots Licence (PPL) is perfect for those students who want to learn to fly for pleasure as a hobby, or perhaps you are thinking of purchasing a helicopter for your own personal use. For further training on additional helicopter types we also operate the 4 seat Robinson R44 and the 5 seat Bell 206 JetRanger.

For pilots with FAA licences we are able to conduct FAA biennial flight reviews (BFR) and Instrument Proficiency checks (IPC).
